Microsoft Office Training Perth
MS Access (Introduction) is 6 hours in 2 x 3 hour units. During the training we can work and train you on your existing databases, or start to build a database from scratch which you can use at your work. We show you how Access works – Tables, Forms, Queries, Reports etc. Then teach you about Relational Database Design. This is the basis of a successful usable system for your business. Maybe it is time to retire your Spreadsheets!
We also provide MS Access Database programming services, and can work on your existing programs, or provide one of our “Off-the-Shelf” solutions which are used all over Australia.
We also offer a Database Troubleshooting and Enhancement Service. You can just purchase ONE Hour at a time!
MS Word (Basic to Intermediate) is 4 hours in 2 x 2 hour units.
This course is designed for either beginners or those with limited experience of Microsoft Word. You learn how to easily manipulate and format document text. We then cover creating tables, proofing documents and avoiding repetitive typing by using AutoText. The course caters for all levels of ability.
We also explore Word’s great productivity features like Quick Parts, Inserting Pictures, Spell Checks, Translating, Borders, Text Boxes etc.
MS Outlook (Introduction) is 2 hours.

|“I needed to improve my skills using MS Excel and MS Word.
In the past I had used a “classroom style” course, which involved waiting for the course to be filled before attending and also doing the course in 6 – 8 hours.
This time around I wanted to do the courses that were more one-to-one and at a time more convenient for my working hours and lifestyle. Breaking the course into 2 hour lots, I found to be a lot more beneficial than sitting in a room for 6 hours. I actually learn’t more.
The price is very competitive and the courses more personal. I would highly recommend this style of learning and will be booking more courses in the future. Thanks Ivor.”

“I needed to refresh Intermediate and Advanced Word skills. I chose Fast Track because of the one-on-one class setting, which suits me better than a group class setting as I don’t like to feel I’m holding any one up and don’t like to be held up in a class.
The training was suited to what I wanted and covered everything I needed to. The environment is relaxed and the course material is detailed and the knowledge imparted by Ivor is priceless.
If a one-on-one or small group setting is what you’re looking for, Fast Track is the place.”
Bev Roberts, Receptionsist/PA on 30/04/2016, writes:
“I enrolled in (Fast Track’s) 1-on-1 Word-Excel course as I needed to update my skills, which I had learned in previous jobs, but had forgotten due to lack of use. All the topics which we touched on (Ivor’s) tutorials met all my expectations.”
Dave Evans, Building and Construction Lecturer on 21/04/2015, writes:
“I have found that Ivor’s MS Word Training of two hour sessions over two days worked for me. I gave me an opportunity to go back to my computer to “have a play” with what I had learnt. His laid back approach made it very easy to learn.
On previous courses, I have been unable to understand why you need to go all around the screen to complete simple tasks, when in fact there was no need.
“I attended Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel training and Basic Microsoft Access training at Fast Track Computer Solutions and feel that I have gained significant knowledge
in the field after a few sessions.
The sessions were adequately grouped so that it was not an overload of information at one time and the content of each session was well organised. Personally, I prefer 1-on-1 training sessions as I find it allows for the possibility of adapting the training style to the trainee’s learning speed and expectations. Fast Track did just that and adapted the courses to the role of the Microsoft programs in my job and provided extensive input on how to efficiently take advantage of the programs’ useful tools. Some of the best things about this style of training is the pace and informality of the sessions; both instructors were very approachable for any questions I had and provided extra assistance in any areas I had difficulty in. Overall, I am very satisfied with the course and think that the extensive experience and expertise of the instructors is a valuable asset to anyone that undergoes their courses.”

“I would highly recommend Excel Training with Fast Track Computing Solutions.
The one-on-one lessons are relaxed and this allows you to work at your own pace and take everything in. Ivor (and his trainers) are wonderful trainers with a world of knowledge, not to mention all the ‘extra tips’ they told me about. I have so much more confidence when using Excel and can now achieve what my Manager is asking of me. Thanks heaps.

Personal Assistant to Rail Engineering Manager (BHP Port Hedland)
“I attended the one-on-one Beginners to Intermediate MS Word course in two lots of two hour classes. I found the one-on-one extremely efficient as I was able to take in everything I was being taught at my own pace and I could ask any questions when I felt the need to. The two lots of two hour classes on different days were perfect as it wasn’t overwhelming.
Ivor was very helpful and clear with his teaching and I was able to play around with things that I had just been taught so that I could understand exactly how everything worked.
I would highly recommend doing the one on one classes and I am looking forward to learning more in the Intermediate to Advanced!

“The Access Database course that I recently attended at Fast Track Computer Solutions was very valuable and informative.
It helped me to understand the concepts easier as the training was split over two units on different days. One-on-One training was really beneficial for me as it concentrated on areas relating to my work.
Thank you very much for such an excellent learning experience and keep up the good work”
